Get your popcorn ready, fellas. It sounds like a catfight is coming to Bones!
As previously reported, Angela will break her vow of celibacy early in the new season. We can confirm that the sexual partner in question will be male, and that he may somehow come between Angela and Brennan.

According to Bones producer Hart Hanson, during the same episode in which Angela gets her swerve on, she and Brennan will have it out.
“Their friendship is deeply challenged. It’ll be the first time that Brennan realizes that being totally rational about something isn’t necessarily being a good friend,” the producer told Entertainment Weekly. “And every time she has done that in the past, Angela has come around and excused Brennan’s behavior. This time, if they’re friendship is to be maintained, Brennan has to take a step toward the irrational.”
New episodes of Bones kick off on September 17.

There’s a revolving door of lab assistants, referred to as “squints,” on Bones.
But in a recent interview with E! News, David Boreanaz said the show is considering a similar storyine for his character and the FBI. He said:
“We have the squints, but we haven’t seen much of the wackies in Booth’s world,” the actor said. “We just worked with Christopher Duncan. He’s a great actor, and he brought so much to the show. He brought such an identity, and what’s great about the experience of working with these guys is that they open up the realm of possibilities. To see how these two characters work off of them, how I would react to squint or how she would react to an FBI guy, and it really just opens up the character work.”

Angela’s self-imposed celibacy will end early next season on Bones. And the person she’ll hook up with is someone we’ve met before.
“Hot!,” said Michela Conlin (Angela) upon hearing her new sex partner’s identity from series creator Hart Hanson at a recent Fox party. “I didn’t expect that. It’s been six months for Angela.” Since we saw Angela last season in a relationship with a woman named Roxie, what will be the sex of her new partner? “It will be a male,” confirms Hanson.
So who do you think Angela will be getting it on with? Hodgins? Jared Booth? Or someone else?

Gordon Gordon Wyatt is back!
While chatting with “Bones” creator Hart Hanson at the FOX TCA party, he spilled that Booth and Brennan’s original psychiatrist will be making a return appearance to the show.
“[Stephen Fry (Gordon Gordon Wyatt)] seems to be available, so we’re going to try and get him for episode ten,” Hart told us. “It may be [for] the Christmas show….if it’s the Christmas show, he’s the perfect guy to come back.”
Last time Gordon Gordon showed up on “Bones,” he informed Sweets that either Booth or Brennan was very aware of their romantic feelings for their partner, but wouldn’t tell him which one. He also helped Booth, Brennan and Sweets bond over their childhood traumas.
Wonder what kind of magic he’ll be cooking up this time.

Yes, Seeley Booth will likely recover from the brain injury he suffered to conclude season four of Bones. After all, Fox has renewed the show up for two more seasons.
But how will the agent’s surgery affect his behavior when the series returns in September?
“It’s an interesting thing that’s going to happen,” David Boreanaz told reporters on Friday when the summer TV press tour visited the Bones set. “What I really want to maintain with the arc with him… is that he does have a remembrance of certain things, but he’s not as adept at other things as he thought he was.”

Such as?
“Whether it’s knowing how to interrogate someone, and he doesn’t do a certain thing and [Brennan is] looking at me going, ‘This is what you usually do,’ and I’m just a tad slow on that - those are the little nuances they kind of discover,” the actor added.
Speaking of Brennan, how will the new Booth react to his partner?
Boreanaz said this setback might actually help their relationship in the long run.
“It makes me want to reinviest my time and energy into that relationship,” he said. “Because I don’t remember certain things, now we’re back to ground zero.”
Bones will return on September 19.

When we last saw Bones, the surgery to remove Booth’s (David Boreanaz) brain tumor was a success though Booth reacted poorly to the anesthesia which resulted in a coma that lasted four days. When he woke up, we learned that Booth’s memory was shattered, leaving Brennan (Emily Deschanel) shocked that her close friend and partner of four years cannot remember her. Since Bones has been renewed for two more seasons, it’s safe to assume that Booth will eventually recover from his brain injury. However, the road ahead won’t be easy.
“It’s an interesting thing that’s going to happen,” Boreanaz said Friday when the summer TV press tour visited the set of Bones. “What I really want to maintain with the arc with him … is that he does have a remembrance of certain things, but he’s not as adept at other things as he thought he was.”
There are plenty of things Booth won’t remember this season, including his distinct approach when it comes cross-examining people.
“Whether it’s knowing how to interrogate someone, and he doesn’t do a certain thing and [Brennan is] looking at me going, ‘This is what you usually do,’ and I’m just a tad slow on that — those are the little nuances they kind of discover,” Boreanaz said.
But more importantly, Booth’s inability to remember will take a toll on his relationship with Brennan, who previously asked for his semen in hopes of having a child.
“It makes me want to reinviest my time and energy into that relationship,” Boreanaz added. “Because I don’t remember certain things, now we’re back to ground zero.”
Fans can catch the fifth season on Bones on Thursday, September 17on FOX.
