Brennan Shocks Booth With A Request, And The Team Investigates A Murdered Wine Critic On “Bones” Thursday, May 7, On Fox

“Stewie Griffin” of Family Guy Makes Guest Appearance

The team is on the case when human remains are found inside a barrel of wine during a wine tasting. When the victim turns out to be a wine critic whose scathing reviews were capable of sending a vineyard to its ruin, everyone from the winery’s owner to the victim’s own wife becomes a suspect. Meanwhile, Brennan decides she wants to have a baby and surprises Booth with the request to father her child. The unexpected request dredges up a host of unspoken feelings and unresolved issues between the two of them, and Booth becomes consumed by the prospect of having another child. The stress of the situation, coupled with Booth’s undiagnosed health issue, paves the way for a surprise visit from Stewie Griffin (guest voice Seth MacFarlane), FAMILY GUY’s diabolically clever baby who offers Booth advice in his inimitable style in “The Critic in the Cabernet” episode of BONES airing Thursday, May 7 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. “Bones” preview for the April 20 episode is released, and this would be the first part of the double week airing. Booth and Brennan investigate the death of a not-so-dearly departed co-worker in “Double Death of the Dearly Departed”.

When a Jeffersonian coworker from the Egyptology department dies of heart failure, the whole team attends the wake. However, upon viewing the corpse, Brennan insists the death was no accident, and enlists Booth to help her steal the body so she and Cam can get a closer look. A bizarre mystery develops surrounding the victim’s cause of death, and the suspects are as cryptic as the baffling death itself.

Meanwhile, Cam gets a lesson in parenting when she tries to get her newly adopted teenage daughter Michelle to stop smoking.

The next “Bones” will air in its usual Thursdays slot, April 23.

When a human body is found inside the strung up Otter mascot uniform of a rival school, Brennan and Booth investigate whether the body inside the costume was dead beforehand, or killed during a Middlesex University bonfire event. The body is identified as Jimmy “Beaver” Bouvier, a fraternity brother at Middlesex University. When Brennan and Booth question his fraternity brothers, they learn that Beaver had a money-making operation on the side and was making a killing of his own. Meanwhile, Booth offers to help his brother Jared (guest star Brendan Fehr) find a new job after being dishonorably discharged from the Navy. A couple months ago, it was unclear whether or not Eric Millegan would reprise his role as Zack Addy on Bones.

But TV Guide has confirmed the good news: Millegan will return on the fourth season finale, which airs May 14. “And it was nice to have him back,” Tamara Taylor said. “We all have missed him.”


Eric Millegan will have guest-starring competition on Bones, as Stewie is also set to appear on the show.
